Gold Star Chapter Award Criteria
The Gold Star Chapter Award recognizes local chapters that go above and beyond in their involvement and commitment to FCCLA at the local, state, and national levels. To qualify, chapters must complete at least 8 out of the 10 listed criteria during the current school year and upload documentation for each completed item in the application.
Eligible criteria include:

Timely Affiliation: Chapter is affiliated with both the state and national organization by the official deadline.

STAR Events Participation: At least one chapter member competed in STAR Events at the regional or state level.

State Project Involvement: Members participated in at least one activity aligned with the Arkansas FCCLA state project.

Power of One Completion: At least one member successfully completed all five modules of Power of One.

Membership Growth: The chapter increased its membership from the previous school year.

Community Service: Members designed and participated in a chapter-led community service project.

Regional Conference Attendance: A chapter member and adviser attended their Regional Leadership Conference.

Chapter Meetings: The chapter held a minimum of four meetings throughout the school year.

State Leadership Conference Attendance: Chapter members and adviser attend the current year’s State Leadership Conference.

National Event Participation: Members and/or adviser attended a national FCCLA event such as Capitol Leadership, National Leadership Institute, or the National Leadership Conference.
This recognition honors chapters that are actively engaged and consistently working to uphold the mission of FCCLA through leadership, service, and participation.
