Service Project:
The service project is called connecting the basic human needs. Schools can decide which service project would be best for their community. All four projects are encouraged if possible. The service options will be the following.
- Food drive or volunteer at your local food bank
- Clothing drive and donate to your local shelter
- School supply or hygiene drive for a local school
- Volunteering at a cancer facility or retirement home
The schools that complete all four service projects by the Region meeting on January 9th will be awarded Region 1 "Leaving a Legacy" certificate.
