Luis Maya,
1st Vice President
Bio: How are we doing, Arkansas! My name is Luis Maya, and I am a junior at Nashville High School in District V. I will be serving as your Arkansas State First-Vice President for the 2022-2023 academic year. FCCLA has been an important part of my life for 4 years. Throughout my time in FCCLA, I have previously served as the District V 1st Vice-President, Chapter President, and a District and State Star Events Evaluator. After high school, I plan to attend college and law school to pursue a career in politics and law. Outside of FCCLA, I love to travel our great nation and nearby countries, play musical instruments, lead my local band as the Drum Major, and watch movies! I take great inspiration from John F. Kennedy, who once said, "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country." That being said, what can you do for FCCLA?
Fun Fact: Aside from being the drum major at Nashville High School, I can play many musical instruments: clarinet, bass clarinet, contrabass clarinet, and others!
